'SavoryPantry started from an aspiration: to share true Neapolitan pizza with Rome. The Rossi family opened the pizzeria in 1985 as a quaint, family-owned shop that boasted generations-old recipes.
Marco Rossi, the original founder, acquired her pizza-making skills through her Italian voyages, especially in Naples - the pizza's homeland. After her return to the UK, she aimed to deliver the essence of authentic Italian pizza, focusing on traditional crafting techniques and premium ingredients.
This small pizzeria, originally seating just 12, has evolved into a cherished neighborhood gem. Yet our promise to quality and genuine tastes stays intact. We continue to employ wood-fired oven methods, prepare our dough freshly each day, and seek out the best produce available.
Currently, 'SavoryPantry is still in the hands of the Rossi lineage, with the new generation at the helm of our enthusiastic crew. While we have adopted contemporary advancements, we still cling to the same ethos—making delectable, real pizza that connects folks.
